Standard CORE templates identify parts that require service over facility life. New templates identify functions, dominant part failures, symptoms and causes, failure control PM strategies and their selection basis. Where codes specify maintenance, templates provide that basis. With templates and a facility risk map, engineers can efficiently develop risk-based preventive maintenance work orders.

Equipment templates simplify picking PM maintenance tasks. Where equipment sees similar stress, templates avoid unmanaged repetition. Standard templates:

• Pre-load plant equipment plans
• Identify parts, failure modes FMEA and their effects, and preventive maintenance tasks
• Benchmark site-specific installations for reference
• Customize template applications to installed equipment
• Organize component maintenance work order content
• Provide cost accounting time estimates
